Well, after a long period of persuasion from family and friends, I finally set up a facebook account...and exactly what I feared has happened...I have become a Facebook addict!!  HELP!

Things have been hectic over the last few weeks, and I apologize for not keeping this site updated.  I have lots more to add, and will try and do better at keeping things updated..please bear with me!

Well, just checking in during our annual ski trip.  having a good time so far.  Slopes have been icy, but we have been getting snow today..Conditions were improving as the snow came down.  Hopefully tomorrow with all the new snow, we will have a great time on the slopes, even though the temps will be in the upper single digits.

It is 11:41 P.M. on Christmas eve.  I just finished adding the boating page to the site.  Quite the journey that part of our life has been.  I also sit here and reflect on the past year and realize how truly blessed we all are in this country.  People may not think this, but even our homeless people are better off than millions of people around the world.  At least they can go to homeless shelters and missions to get a warm meal and clean water.  However, people in many third-world countries are going without food or even clean water this Christmas.

This Christmas,  as we celebrate the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ, thank God not only for sending Him, but also for all the blessings you have..even the simplest ones that we take for granted every day.  Praise Him for the blessings he showers upon you each and every waking moment, and appreciate every breath you take.

May God bless you and yours, and have a Merry CHRISTmas!!

Today was supposed to be a skiing day with my friend Corey.  Instead, it was spent blowing snow in sub-zero temperatures.  The truck didnt even want to run it was so cold today.  I must have twisted something in my back when I was cleaning the snow off the boat, because I am in a little pain right now...I hope its better by morning for work.  I still do love the snow, and the winter weather that we are having.  I haven't seen a winter like this since I was a kid back in 1978.  Looks like the upcoming ski trip is going to be a good one with all the snow we have gotten in the last few weeks.  I can hardly wait!!

Well, here we are!  I was going to set this site up a long time ago, but now it's finally up and running!  Its good to see the fruit of ones labor turn out so well.  I figured I would work on the site after we got back from the White Heron Chorale performance at Lawerance University in Appleton.  A friend of ours performs with them.  On the way into the concert, my wife had a spill and hurt her ankle.  Nothing too serious, but I hope it heals up enough for our ski trip on the 29th of December.  The concert was great, however the ride home was crappy.  We were even diverted off of 41 due to an accident or something because of the poor road conditions.  We made it home safe though, and I have this spiffy new website to show for it.  Life is great!
